Establishment

It all began in 1932, when brothers Dobrosav and Tihomir Topalović founded the “KVARC” workshop in Trstenik, specializing in the production of millstones.

Although the company has operated under the name FASADA for more than 30 years, its roots reach back to the first half of the 20th century.

Creating the Core Product Line

After the end of World War II, the company relocated to Osijek, where conditions were more favorable for the operation of private businesses.

In 1947, Dobrosav Topalović founded a new company called “SILEX”, which became well-known throughout former Yugoslavia for producing millstones, ground stone, and decorative plasters for facade finishing, marketed under the HIROFA brand.

Expanding the Product Range

From 1985 to 1990, the company expanded its product range by introducing DULIT and DULIT “G” products.

Unfortunately, in 1991, due to the breakup of the SFRY, the company ceased operations. However, in 1992, Dušan Topalović and Miloš Pralica continued the tradition by founding the company FASADA in Šimanovci.

Relocation and Capacity Expansion

In 1993, FASADA relocated to Stara Pazova, where it quickly became one of the leading manufacturers in the region.

Focus on Quality and Improvements

In response to growing demands, construction of a new business and production complex in the industrial zone of Stara Pazova began in 2005. The first phase was completed, allowing for a significant increase in production capacity.
